Things to do in Napa
Wine Tasting
Rubicon

The Rubicon Estate is our favorite place to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Like most wineries in Napa there is a fee associated to taste their wines but it does include a tour of the estate which is a beautiful chateau with cool movie-related memorabilia (the winery is owned by director Frances Coppola). Most importantly - their wines are amazing! They are known for their Cabernet Sauvignon but all of their wines are fantastic. We highly recommend visiting Rubicon while you are in Napa.
Sterling

Sterling is a great winery to visit even if only for the aerial tram ride up to the tasting room. For a fee of $25 you get the tram ride, a souvenir glass, and the tasting of five of their wines. The ride up gives you a great view of the beautiful valley. The wine is quite good as well.
Trahan

We got to personally meet the wine maker of Trahan, Chuck Custillo, through a friend of ours (thanks Teresa!). We also had the opportunity to watch the crush of his pinot noir grapes this past year. Trahan has a tasting room in downtown Napa and we highly recommend visiting and tasting Chuck's wines. We have tried and enjoyed the different varietals (personal favorite is the merlot) and they were all amazing. If you get the chance stop by and you won't be disappointed.
Shopping
Oxbow Public Market

The Oxbow Public Market has shopping as well as dining options. If you're looking for gifts, gourmet foods, and of course, wine, you should visit the market.
Napa Premium Outlet

If you don't particularly like wine there is always shopping. The Napa outlet is a popular place and has some very nice stores.
Dining
Napa has some of the best dining in the country. We were lucky enough to dine at the following places and enjoyed them tremendously. If you need additional recommendations on where to dine please ask us!
